Defenseman Aki Berg, the Kings’ top draft choice in 1995, will be in the lineup tonight against Vancouver after being recalled from the Phoenix Roadrunners, the Kings’ International Hockey League affiliate. Berg played for Finland in the World Junior Hockey Championships last week.

Center Ian Laperriere suffered a shoulder injury in the Kings’ 5-0 loss to Florida on Saturday and will not play tonight. He joins an already crowded injury list that includes Vitali Yachmenev (ankle), Sean O’Donnell (wrist), Steven Finn (back) and Yanic Perreault (stomach).
Rob Blake is still out too, but he will be fitted with a new cast later this week for his broken right hand.

The Kings will have Matt Johnson, who has been sidelined since Dec. 18, back in the lineup.
