Your Chance to Meet Two Superheroes

Where’s a superhero when you need one? This weekend, you can come in contact with two, in that mystical, legendary city of--Burbank. Hercules, a muscle-bound slayer of Cyclopes, and Xena, a scantily clad warrior princess, will be on hand in their mere mortal states, as actors Kevin Sorbo and Lucy Lawless, for the first “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys” and “Xena: Warrior Princess” Convention. Sorbo will appear on stage Saturday, and Lawless on Sunday, at the Burbank Airport Hilton, 2500 Hollywood Way.

The convention includes behind-the-scenes footage of the shows, and a dealers room with related merchandise for sale. Hours are Saturday-Sunday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. $15 through Ticketmaster; $18 at the door; ages 7-12, $10; ages 6 and younger, free. Information: (818) 409-0960.
