LSU Says It Has Talked With Harrick

Louisiana State Athletic Director Joe Dean confirmed Wednesday he has had a discussion with former UCLA coach Jim Harrick about succeeding longtime Tiger Coach Dale Brown, who has announced he will retire at the end of the season.
One of LSU’s top choices is reported to be Iowa State’s Tim Floyd, formerly of the University of New Orleans, but, to avoid tampering chargers, Dean would not comment on any potential candidate who is currently employed.
