Police Seek Man in Attack, Burglary

Simi Valley police are searching for a man in the attempted rape of a woman and the burglary of her home early Sunday.
The attack occurred in the neighborhood between Sycamore Drive and Tapo Canyon Road about 3:30 a.m., police said.
The woman, who suffered only minor bruises and did not require treatment, woke up after the intruder placed his hand over her mouth.
She fought back, and the man ran off, police said.
No description of the man was available.
Several officers and a police dog searched the area.
