Sillinger Gets Nod Over Oksiuta

Give Vancouver the edge in last season’s Roman Oksiuta-for-Mike Sillinger trade. Sillinger scored a goal Sunday for Vancouver, and his 10 goals would rank third on the Ducks. Oksiuta was in the press box for the 19th time in 23 games.

Overall, Sillinger has 24 points since the March 15 trade and Oksiuta has 23 but is in Ron Wilson’s doghouse for inconsistent effort and defensive lapses.

Left wing Shawn Antoski didn’t play, and hip soreness has limited his comeback to one game. But he got an encouraging report from Vancouver abdominal specialist Ross Davidson, who said he might require only three weeks to recover if he has surgery.
