As the Chargers’ only returning starter, Steward is a big reason the team is 12-3. Thursday, in a 65-56 overtime victory over Huntington Beach, the 5-foot-8 point guard played the entire game and had 18 points, nine rebounds and seven assists. Last Tuesday, she had 16 points and seven steals in a 52-34 victory over Costa Mesa.
