* SACRAMENTO STATE (2-9, 1-1) at CS NORTHRIDGE (6-8, 2-2)
Time--7.
Tonight’s game is the first of Northridge’s only back-to-back games of the regular season. The Matadors play Weber State at home Thursday night. The games start a series of five of six home conference games for Northridge, which has won four in a row at Matador Gym. The Hornets, who came with the Matadors from the American West Conference, have improved even if their record doesn’t show it. Although Sacramento is shooting a conference-worst 36% from the field, the team has shot 45% in its two Big Sky games. Northridge’s Gerald Rhoden (11.6 points per game) and Sacramento’s Damond Edwards (12.3) are the leading scorers.
