Deputies Raid 4 Homes on 1 Block

PALMDALE — Four men and four women who live in houses in the same block have been arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs for sale and receiving stolen property, according to authorities.
Search warrants were served about 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at four residences in the 3500 block of East Q Street by a special enforcement unit of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and Antelope Valley deputies, said Lt. John Crabb.
The four women arrested were Ilene Pooler, 32, Cynthia Cooke, 34, Vennetia Parrish, 41, and Brenda Deruiter, 42, authorities said.
The men included Robert Deruiter, 41, Gary Wesley Patton II, 25, Gregory Hughes, 39, and Stacy Wood, 21, deputies said.
More than 100 pieces of unspecified property valued at more than $20,000 were confiscated as evidence, Crabb said.
Deputies also confiscated several packets of methamphetamine packaged for sale and valued at $1,300, authorities said.
