Polly Ann Young, 88, an actress and sister of the better-known Loretta Young. Known for most of her life by her married name, Polly Ann Hermann, she was one of four actress sisters including Loretta and Georgiana Young and Sally Blane. The four appeared together in only one film, “The Story of Alexander Graham Bell.” Polly Ann Young appeared in several bit parts as a child and in the late 1920s graduated to grown-up leading lady roles. Her last films were “Road Show” and “The Invisible Ghost” in 1941. Among her other films were “The Masks of the Devil,” “Tanned Legs,” “The Bellamy Trial,” “Stolen Secrets,” “Hitchhike to Heaven” and “Border Patrolman.” On Tuesday in Los Angeles.
