Dodgers Need to Make Serious Offer to Piazza
- Share via
Mike Piazza is the heart and soul of the Dodgers. Like Drysdale. Like Koufax.
Signing Piazza for six years at $60 million is a big risk. Offering him only two years for $14 million is a gross insult given the market today. That offer has already damaged the Dodgers’ relationship with their franchise players. They should cut their losses and sign him for five years and $45 million. That’s what he’s worth.
