ARIZONA STATE (9-7, 1-3) at USC (8-5, 3-2)

The Trojans are optimistic after upsetting No. 6 Arizona on Thursday night, and a victory over Arizona State would further distance the Trojans from losses at California and Stanford. “I think this is a big turning point,” guard Elias Ayuso said. Arizona State is coming off a 79-62 loss at UCLA, in which the Sun Devils were hurt by the Bruins inside. Center David Crouse and freshman forward Jarvis Turner have begun to assert themselves for the Trojans, but Turner was involved in a car accident Friday and showed up at practice wearing a neck brace. He avoided serious injury, but Coach Henry Bibby said he is unsure if Turner will play. Rodrick Rhodes, who played only four minutes Thursday, will not suit up so he can continue to rest his injured knee.
