Chorale Seeks Singers for European Tour

THOUSAND OAKS — The Los Robles Master Chorale is looking for singers interested in participating in a European concert tour this summer.
Singers will pay their own way for the 17-day tour, which will run June 22 through July 8. Concerts will be held in Prague, the Czech Republic; Leipzig, Germany; and Chartres and Paris in France.
The first concert tour will be with the CKD Choir of Prague, which visited Thousand Oaks and sang with the Master Chorale last October. In Leipzig, the eastern German city that Bach made famous, the Master Chorale will sing a Dvorak mass and participate in the two-day American Choir Festival.
In France, the group is scheduled to sing two afternoon concerts in the Strasbourg Cathedral and then the Chartres Cathedral, southwest of Paris. The tour finale will be at Paris’ Notre Dame cathedral, with the chorale singing the 11:30 morning mass.
