Dry Reading

* I was truly impressed by the four-page broad sheet insert in the Jan. 12 paper featuring an overview of the Sunday edition and a huge centerfold describing and illustrating the hundreds of features in the Valley Edition.
But one double-entendre in the lower right corner of Page 3 made the insert most memorable. The Times promises: “We guarantee a dry, readable newspaper delivered by the hours listed above. . . . “
Yet as much as a wet newspaper is not readable, a dry one isn’t either. I don’t want a dry, (readable) newspaper.
