* Yes, Peter [O’Malley], your dad had [foresight] to move his beloved Dodgers to Los Angeles. Why don’t you follow his lead? Sell the Dodgers! Create you own NFL expansion team; move a few miles to the West. Forget those whining Los Angeles politicians.
Your new stadium site: Pierce College. That school is of a dying breed, in debt, with outdated facilities. The area is clean and basically safe, unlike the Coliseum or Dodger Stadium.
Your fan base will reach north of Santa Barbara, south to Torrance and more, and east beyond Pasadena. And when the Valley breaks away from Los Angeles, you will be part of a winning combination. Pete, please think about it!
