Endowment Will Benefit Playwrights

Theatre Communications Group has been awarded more than $700,000 by the National Endowment for the Arts to further develop and administer a Theater Residency Program for Playwrights.
Over a two-year period, the program will award $25,000 each to 24 playwrights to be in residence at host theaters.
The writers will develop new work and participate in developmental and community activities. Guidelines and applications will be available early next month.
