Malia, Metcalf Lead the Way for Simi Valley

Shannon Malia scored 21 points and Jensa Metcalf had 17 points and eight rebounds to lead Simi Valley High over Camarillo, 85-59, in a Marmonte League girls’ basketball game Tuesday night at Camarillo.
It was the fifth consecutive league victory for the Pioneers (12-6, 6-1), who led at halftime, 48-28.
Simi Valley Coach Dave Murphy played reserves in the second half, when the Pioneers outscored Camarillo (3-14, 0-7), 37-31.
Forward Summer Page had eight rebounds and 10 points for Simi Valley, which is tied for first place.

Newbury Park 52, Westlake 37--Nadine Levsey scored 15 points and Tawni Yamauchi added 13 for the Panthers (5-11, 2-5) at Westlake.
Kristi Valencia scored 14 points for Westlake (3-13, 1-6).
Thousand Oaks 68, Agoura 59--Jenn Detmer scored 18 points and Elena Salvador added 15 for the Lancers (10-5, 5-2) at Thousand Oaks.
Kristin DeSimone had 29 points, 16 rebounds and five blocks for Agoura (8-9, 3-4).
Channel Islands 74, Royal 46--Alma Perez scored 17 points to lead the Raiders (13-6, 6-1) at Channel Islands. Alicia Weber had 14 points to lead Royal (10-6, 5-2).
In other games:
Crescenta Valley 74, Hoover 35--Michelle Greco had 25 points, eight rebounds, six assists and 10 steals for the Falcons (17-2, 4-0), ranked second in The Times’ regional poll, in a Pacific League game.
Tara Gregory added 18 points, 12 assists and five steals for Crescenta Valley.
Hart 57, Burbank 34--Junior forward Melissa Harrison had 24 points and 15 rebounds at Hart to help the Indians (14-5, 4-0) win their 22nd consecutive Foothill League game.
Candace Boller had 10 points and eight rebounds for Hart.
La Reina 52, St. Bonaventure 32--Susanna Murley scored 14 points and Kindrea Cucci had six points and 13 rebounds for the Regents (8-4, 2-1) in a Tri-Valley League game at La Reina.
Fillmore 61, Bishop Diego 37--April Kozar had 28 points and 20 rebounds for the Flashes (13-4, 3-0) in a Tri-Valley League game at Bishop Diego (7-8, 1-2).
Christie Rosenblad added 21 points, seven steals and seven assists for Fillmore.
Buena 70, Dos Pueblos 26--Nicole Greathouse had 21 points, nine rebounds and five blocks for the Bulldogs (13-2, 7-0) in a Channel League game at Buena.
Quartz Hill 47, Highland 29--Kenya Corley scored 23 points for the Rebels, who were playing their first game in a month, in a Golden League game at Highland.
April Garza had seven assists for Quartz Hill (11-1, 1-0).
