* Boys, Fremont at Jefferson, Friday, 4 p.m.: Jefferson, the surprise of City Section’s Southeastern Conference, will be tested against a perennial power.

* Boys, Lynwood at Dominguez, Friday, 7 p.m.: Dominguez’s only challenger in San Gabriel Valley League will be Lynwood, which used to be the class of the league.

* Boys, Artesia at Bellflower, Wednesday, 7 p.m.: Bellflower made a run at Artesia in the Suburban League last season and again should prove a formidable foe.

* Girls, Banning at Washington, Friday, 5 p.m.: Washington, which has already lost a conference game to Narbonne, will have its hands full with Banning, the top-ranked team in the City Section.
