West Valley Little League will hold registration and tryouts from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Field No. 7 of the WVLL complex.

* The Super “PR” Bowl 5K run will be held on the west side of lower Castaic Lake at 8:30 a.m. Sunday.

* Registration and tryouts for the Ventura Tri-Valley Girls’ Softball League will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Ventura College.
The league is for girls ages 6 through 17. Players should dress appropriately for tryouts and new players must bring a birth certificate.

* The College of the Canyons golf tournament is seeking teams and individuals to complete the fields.
The five-player scramble tournaments will be played Feb. 3 and Feb. 24 at Valencia Country Club, site of the PGA Tour’s 1998 Nissan Open. Entries are $110 per tournament or $200 for both. Proceeds benefit Canyons’ golf program.

* A limited number of playing spots are available for the pro-am portion of the LPGA Los Angeles Women’s Championship at Oakmont Country Club in Glendale.
Four-person amateur teams are paired with a tour professional in a scramble format on either Feb. 12 or 13.
Entries are $1,500 each and can be arranged by calling the tournament office at (818) 957-9373.
* Lake Casitas was stocked Monday with more than 1,500 pounds of catchable-sized rainbow trout. In addition to the trout plant, Casitas is scheduled to be stocked today with more than 2,800 pounds of catfish.
