Laguna Hills, Woodbridge to Play Key Game

The one can’t-miss game of the weekend is Saturday’s nonleague matchup featuring No. 1 Laguna Hills at No. 3 Woodbridge; they split their first two games. Woodbridge is coming off a victory over Ventura Buena, the No. 2 team in the state, and Laguna Hills has Whitney Houser (broken foot) back in the lineup, though she’s still not 100% recovered.
Marina at San Clemente might be just as good even though the host Tritons will be missing two starters, Amanda Engle (knee) and Colleen Turnbull (ankle).
The best league fare is tonight’s game featuring Esperanza at Marina; Esperanza, ranked seventh, is the only undefeated Sunset League team, and Marina was ranked fourth before tumbling last week to eighth.
