Karl Likes L.A. Attitude

Although the Clippers had lost five consecutive games going into Thursday night’s game against the SuperSonics, Seattle Coach George Karl hasn’t lost respect for them.
“I still see a positive team out there,” Karl said. “They’re playing hard and they still believe they can win and that was not always the case with Clipper teams in the past. Coach [Bill] Fitch has done a good job of mentally keeping them believing.
“They’re in a situation where if they could get a winning streak going they could still make the playoffs. That’s got to be very exciting for the people in Clipper land.”
