Rayne Mahaffey led a second-half comeback that carried Pacific (14-1, 5-0) to its 14th consecutive victory, a 68-64 triumph over Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (9-8, 3-2) at Stockton. . . . Denmark Reid scored 18 points and helped spark a second-half surge that carried New Mexico State (8-7, 2-3) to a 71-47 victory over Idaho (7-11, 0-5) at Las Cruces, N.M.

Portland 69, Pepperdine 68--Greg Klosterman and Dionn Holton each made key free throws in the closing seconds of overtime to pace the Pilots at Portland.
Marc McDowell led Pepperdine (5-12, 2-3) with 17 points and Bryan Hill had 13 points and a season-high 21 rebounds.
Klosterman scored 18 points to lead the Pilots (7-10, 2-3).
Gonzaga 71, Loyola Marymount 60--Axel Dench scored 18 points and grabbed 18 rebounds to lead Gonzaga at Spokane, Wash.
Jim Williamson led the Lions (5-12, 2-3) with 25 points, but Gonzaga (10-7, 3-2) jumped to a 35-24 halftime lead and never looked back.
