The second annual Los Angeles Times Festival of Books will be held April 19 and 20 at UCLA. Last year’s festival drew approximately 75,000 people.
About 200 authors--including Steve Allen, John Berendt, Barbara DeAngelis, Nancy Friday, Carlos Fuentes, Olivia Goldsmith, Dean Koontz, Dr. Laura Schlessinger and Joseph Wambaugh--will participate in panel discussions and other events. There will also be a wide variety of children’s programming, as well as publishers’ and booksellers’ booths and book signings.
Times are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on April 19 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 20. For general information, please call (800) LA TIMES, Ext. 7BOOK.
