SC Bancorp’s Fourth-Quarter Net Up 50%

ANAHEIM — SC Bancorp, the parent company of Southern California Bank, reported net income of $4.5 million, or 60 cents a share, for 1996, compared with $869,000, or 12 cents a share, for the prior year. Fourth-quarter net income rose 50% to $1.5 million, or 20 cents a share, from $1 million, or 13 cents a share. Total assets gained 3% to $476 million from $461.8 million.
