Cyclone in Madagascar Leaves 100 Dead or Missing

ANTANANARIVO, Madagascar — About 100 people were killed or missing after a powerful tropical cyclone hit the Indian Ocean island of Madagascar, Radio Madagascar said Saturday.
The radio said some towns had suffered 90% destruction as Cyclone Gretelle hit the southeast of the island Friday evening and again during the night, leaving thousands of residents homeless.
