Northridge Baseball Games Against Cal Poly Postponed

Cal State Northridge’s baseball games Saturday and today against Cal Poly San Luis Obispo at Northridge have been postponed because of rain and have not yet been rescheduled.
SOCCER
Most of Saturday’s scheduled matches were postponed by rain and wet fields except in the Mission League, where a few schools managed to brave the elements.
In boys’ soccer, Chaminade defeated St. Francis, 2-1. Gene Lee scored a goal and had an assist for the Eagles (6-5-1, 3-1).
Crespi defeated Harvard-Westlake, 1-0, on a penalty shot in the 58th minute.
In girls’ soccer, Harvard-Westlake freshman Imani Dorsey scored in the 20th minute to give Wolverines (10-2-1, 4-0) a 1-0 victory over Louisville (5-5-2, 0-2-1).
RUNNING
The 12th annual Great Race of Agoura 10K run is scheduled for Feb. 1 at Agoura High.
The event includes several races, including a five-kilometer run that begins at 7:30 a.m., a two-kilometer run at 8:15 a.m., a 10-kilometer race at 8:30 a.m. and a family fun run at 10 a.m.
There also will be a Law Enforcement Challenge Race.
Prospective participants may pick up entry packets from noon to 7 p.m. Wednesday through Friday at First Federal Bank at 5701 Kanan Road in Agoura Hills.

GOLF
The Pete Kokon Open will be played Feb. 10 at Calabasas Country Club to benefit the Pierce College baseball program.
Entry fees are $120 per person or $425 per foursome. Deadline to register is Feb. 7.
