N.U. Pizza Buys 10-Store Sandwich Chain in Oregon

N.U. Pizza Corp., the Van Nuys-based owner of the Numero Uno pizza restaurant chain, said it has acquired a 10-store chain called Oregon’s Original Sandwich Express and Bakery in Oregon for $200,000 in cash.
N.U. says it will use the acquisition to create a new chain called Formaggi/Sandwich Express, which will sell both pizzas and sandwiches.
