Litton Wins Contract With Norwegian Navy

Litton Industries, a Woodland Hills-based defense contractor, said it won a $12.5-million contract from the Royal Norwegian Navy for a shore defense system.
Under the contract, Litton will produce 54 of the systems, which track enemy targets and provide information to ground-based missiles, to be completed by the end of 1998.
The systems will be produced by Litton’s Laser Systems Division in Apopka, Fla.
