Tri-Lite Emerges From Chapter 11 Protection

The Tri-Lite subsidiary of Helionetics Inc., a Van Nuys technology firm, has emerged from bankruptcy, the company said.
Tri-Lite’s reorganization plan was confirmed by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Santa Ana last week. The unit filed for protection under Chapter 11 of the U.S. bankruptcy code in February.
Under the reorganization plan, Helionetics will own 87.5% of Tri-Lite’s common shares.
Tri-Lite is a Santa Ana-based maker of lighting systems.
