Guard Brent Barry, who missed the first 14 games of the season because of a thumb injury, was just starting to flourish, scoring a season-high 17 points in Friday’s victory over the Denver Nuggets.

The Clippers don’t think he’ll miss five games.

Atlanta Hawk Coach Lenny Wilkens, the NBA’s all-time winningest coach, played two seasons for Clipper Coach Bill Fitch in Cleveland.
