2 Men Face Charges in Market Robbery

Two El Rio men were booked into jail Wednesday on suspicion of robbing a family market in Saticoy at gunpoint in December.

Jess Moya, 20; Raymond Arellano, 23; and brother Alexander Arellano 25, were arrested about 8 a.m. Wednesday at their home. Alexander Arellano was later released pending further investigation, and remained a suspect, a Ventura County Sheriff’s Department spokesman said.

Yeto’s Market in Saticoy was robbed Dec. 27. During the holdup, two men pointed semiautomatic handguns at the market’s owner and his wife and demanded cash, while a third man waited outside. The three fled with about $200, the sheriff’s spokesman said.
