Roberts Sore After First Game Back

One day after playing his first game since Nov. 30, center Stanley Roberts was ready to retire.
“I’ve got to find me a new job,” Roberts quipped as he rested his sore back and left leg on a training table after practice Wednesday.
Roberts, who played 10 minutes in Tuesday night’s 112-96 loss to the Atlanta Hawks, didn’t practice Wednesday and said he’ll probably skip tonight’s game against the Vancouver Grizzlies.
“My back and leg hurt, but I’m just hanging in there, trying to do the best job I can,” Roberts said. “On a scale of one to 10 it’s probably about a 6 1/2. The way I feel right now I don’t think I’ll be playing.”

Center Kevin Duckworth, who has sat out 14 games because of a sore left foot, practiced for the second time since going on the injured list Dec. 27, but he isn’t sure when he’ll return.
