Older, Richer: Five former employees of the Burbank Airport Hilton hotel who said they were fired because of age have been awarded $2.54 million by a jury in Los Angeles County Superior Court. At the time, the plaintiffs were ages 48 to 53, and “the owner said he wanted younger people,” said their attorney, Marcus Mancini of Woodland Hills. The hotel will appeal, said Hilton attorney Stacy Shartin.
