Southwest Adds Chamber Music Show

Closing its fourth summer season at the Huntington Library in San Marino, Southwest Chamber Music has added an extra performance, Aug. 22, in the art gallery loggia; the scheduled Aug. 23 performance has been sold-out.
Performers at these two events will be violinist Amy Sims, cellist Marilyn Harris-Bardet and pianist Gayle Blankenburg. The program includes Beethoven’s “Moonlight” Sonata, Opus 27, No. 1; a “Notturno” by Schubert; Mel Powell’s “Nocturne”; and Brahms’ Trio in B, Opus 8. Information: (800) 726-7147.
