“American Visions,” Time magazine art critic Robert Hughes’ eight-hour public television series on the evolution of American art, has been released on video by PBS Home Video. Produced by Time Inc. and the BBC in association with WNET-NY, the program was shown on PBS in May and June. The eight-volume set is available at $149.98; single episodes cost $19.98 apiece.
