The Crystal Cathedral will hold a benefit concert Aug. 22 for 4-year-old Noah Sommers.
The child, a quadriplegic who depends on a ventilator to breathe, was permanently injured two years ago in a car accident. Funds collected from the benefit will help purchase the modified van required for his transportation.
The program will feature contemporary Christian performing artists Renee Bondi, Mandie Pinto, Kathryn Zaremba, Christina Stojavoski and Velvet Dixon.
Admission will be free. An offering will be taken for Sommers during the concert.
A preconcert dinner at 6 p.m. in the cathedral’s arboretum will be $15 a person or $96 for a table of eight.
Those attending the dinner will have preferred seating for the 8 p.m. concert in the cathedral, 12141 Lewis St.
Tickets, reservations and information: (714) 544-5679.
