Under Roger Gornick’s leadership, more than 55,000 abandoned and cited cars have been towed from San Fernando Valley streets during the last 30 years, earning him recognition Friday from the City Council as the “king of abandoned vehicles.” He’s head of the city’s parking enforcement division in the Valley.
