Fasching Still Leading Race Across America

Wolfgang Fasching of Goritz, Austria, continues to lead for the sixth consecutive day in the Race Race Across America.
Fasching, 29, pedaled through Gainesville, Ga., at 6:55 p.m. (PDT) Friday and is 2,775.78 miles into the race.
Danny Chew of Pittsburgh remains in second, the position he has held since Wednesday after overtaking Rob Kish of Port Orange, Fla., who is third.
In the men’s 50 division, Beat Gfeller of Switzerland was in the lead at the checkpoint in Linden, Tenn., at 6 p.m. (PDT) Friday.
In the women’s division, Seana Hogan of San Jose remains in the lead. She reached Winchester, Tenn., at 8:48 p.m. (PDT) Friday.
