A Little Quiet in Restaurants Is in Order
- Share via
“The Sounds of Silence” (July 21) had to do with noise, its absence and effect.
The one place I would love to have quiet reign is at restaurants while I am conversing with people at my table. It is almost impossible to find such a place other than hotel dining rooms.
The trendiest restaurants are boiler factories. Is it a lack of acoustical muffling, or does the public really enjoy shouting at one another during a meal?
