3.0 Rumbler Another ’94 Quake Aftershock

A magnitude 3.0 Northridge earthquake aftershock, striking just two miles southwest of the 1994 epicenter, rattled the central San Fernando Valley at 12:03 a.m. Monday, Caltech seismologists reported.
No damage was reported from the latest aftershock, which brought the total number of aftershocks in the magnitude 3 range to 407. There have also been 52 aftershocks in the magnitude 4 range and 11 with a magnitude of 5 or greater.
Altogether, according to the latest Caltech report, there have been more than 14,200 aftershocks of the Jan. 17, 1994, quake.
