‘Breakers’ to Aid Medical Research

The Aug. 16, 2 p.m., performance of “Breakers One,” eight short plays currently at Theatre Geo, 1229 N. Highland Ave., will benefit Basic and Clinical Research Assn., Performing Artists Against Cancer has announced.
The nonprofit association supports ongoing cancer research at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in West Los Angeles and the VA Outpatient Clinic in Los Angeles.
Tickets for the show and dinner at Hamptons, 1342 N. Highland Ave., are $75.
