Board OKs Appointment of School District Official

The Redondo Beach Unified School District has a new assistant superintendent of personnel services to replace Wayne Kurlak, who retired last month.
The appointment of William E. Nunan, who has worked for 25 years in the Newport-Mesa Unified School District in Newport Beach, was approved by the school board on Tuesday night. Nunan, who currently works as the director of human resources and staff development in Newport Beach, will begin his new job on Aug. 18.
