JetHawk Bats Stop Ports, 11-2

The Lancaster JetHawks scored five runs in the first inning and five more in the fourth and cruised to an 11-2 victory over the Stockton Ports in a California League game Sunday at Lancaster Municipal Stadium.
A two-run home run to center field by Jason Regan ignited the first-inning outburst. The blast was Regan’s 18th since joining Lancaster (30-20) at the start of the second half. Joe Mathis had a home run and drove in three.
Pitcher Damaso Marte (6-7) held Stockton to one run on six hits in seven innings.
