Eltron Internat’l Enjoys ‘Growth in All Aspects’

Eltron International in Simi Valley has reported that net income was up 19% in the second quarter, jumping to $3.4 million from $2.8 million in the same quarter last year.
Sales for the second quarter ended June 30 increased more than 21% to $27.5 million from $22.7 million last year. Second-quarter earnings per share advanced 19% to 43 cents per share, from 36 cents.
“We have once again achieved record sales and earnings,” said Donald K. Skinner, chairman and chief executive officer. “We experienced growth in all aspects of our business and are particularly pleased with the continued strong growth of our on-demand color card printers and supplies business. We are also encouraged by our continued progress in [Asia].”
Eltron designs and manufactures thermal label and plastic card printers, verifiers, software, label media and related accessories used by the health-care, retail, manufacturing, package delivery, financial services, identification and security industries.
