A Los Angeles landmark, the busy four-level freeway interchange known as “the Stack” in downtown Los Angeles, will be closed in the early morning hours all week for earthquake retrofitting, a Caltrans spokeswoman said Monday.
The northbound Harbor (110) to Hollywood (101) freeway connector, the southbound 101 to northbound 110 connector, and the southbound 110 to southbound 101 connector will be closed from midnight to 5 a.m. through Friday, said Margie Tiritilli.
The $6-million project, which includes several downtown area undercrossings, will be finished by the end of the year, Tiritilli said.
