Writers Guild Seeks Scripts for Contest

The Writers Guild of America is accepting entries through Sept. 15 for its television and radio awards. Writers must submit their own scripts for consideration.
Also being accepted are entries for the Paul Selvin Award, which recognizes the script that “best embodies the spirit of the constitutional and civil rights and liberties which are indispensable to the survival of free writers everywhere.” Both TV and movie scripts are eligible.
All entries must have premiered between Sept. 1, 1996, and Aug. 31 of this year. Winners will be announced in early 1998.
