D.C. Police Buy Printrak System

ANAHEIM — Printrak International Inc. said that the Washington, D.C., Police Department has purchased one of its advanced systems to expand the department’s automated fingerprint identification capabilities. The value of the system, to be delivered by the end of September, is $3.7 million. Washington’s metropolitan police have used Printrak equipment for more than a decade.
Printrak shares closed unchanged at $12.25 in Nasdaq trading Tuesday..
