Injuries End Papadakis’ Career

Senior linebacker Taso Papadakis, who tore a ligaments in his left knee during spring practice, said his injury-marred career is over after five surgeries and he won’t report for USC’s fall practice.
Rumor has it Papadakis has found another productive use for his 6-foot, 240-pound body--and his pride in his Greek heritage--performing as Hercules at Disneyland--but Papadakis declined comment. A Disney policy requires employees who work as characters not to reveal their identity.
“I just had a lot of bad luck in college. I just had a lot of obstacles,” said Papadakis, whose brother, Petros, is a sophomore running back at USC.
