Bullfrog update--Although the Bullfrogs did not defeat the Blades in regulation this season, they won three shootouts, including one at the Forum. Todd Wetzel, one of the few remaining players who started the season with the team, has 21 goals in 22 games. Recently acquired Glen Metropolit scored four goals in the season-ending 9-8 victory at Sacramento and Wetzel got the game-winner. Victor Gervais has played in 17 games and has scored 17 times. Defender B.J. MacPherson is out with a twisted ankle.

Blade update--The Blades finished the regular season without a victory in their last five games and are 2-5-3 since July 12. Ian McIntyre (15 assists) has a back problem. He has played in 16 games and may not be available tonight. The status of Kevin St. Jacques is in doubt with a hand injury. He is tied for the team lead in assists with Alan Leggett at 32. Doug Ast led the team in every scoring category, including goals (27) and points (59).
