O.C. Connie Mack Team Wins Again

The Orange County Dodgers won their third consecutive game at the Connie Mack World Series, defeating the Ontario (Canada) Blue Jays, 13-5, Tuesday in Farmington, N.M.
Tommy Nicholson from Anaheim was four for four with a home run and a double. Brandon Smith of Anaheim and Bud Smith of Long Beach also hit home runs for Orange County, which has nine home runs in the series, two shy of the series record.
Monday, Brandon Pac of Anaheim hit two home runs and Nicholson hit a grand slam in a 12-1 victory over the Farmington (N.M.) Crows.
Orange County is the only unbeaten team in the double-elimination tournament and plays Ontario today at 5:15 p.m.
