MOORPARK — A Santa Paula man was being held Wednesday in connection with the possession of more than half a pound of high-grade methamphetamine, authorities said.
Manuel Minero Regalado, 20, was arrested after Ventura County sheriff’s deputies pulled him over on Grimes Canyon Road in Moorpark about 9:20 p.m. Monday, said Sgt. Curt Rothschiller.
Authorities said Regalado was driving erratically westbound on Los Angeles Avenue.
While searching the car, deputies said they found methamphetamine with a street value of $29,000 in the glove compartment, Rothschiller said.
Regalado and two juvenile passengers were taken into custody on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute, according to Rothschiller.
Regalado was being held in lieu of $100,000 bail. The juveniles were released to their parents pending further investigation.
